About the game

Tails of Iron takes place in a grim, war-torn medieval land, where the player controls Redgi, heir to the Rat Throne. His goal is to reclaim the fallen kingdom and drive out the Frog Clan led by the ferocious Greenwart. Combat revolves around watching enemy attacks and reacting with dodge-rolls, parry bashes, fatal executions, and bow shots. Equipment changes how Redgi fights: heavy armour offers better protection but slows dodging, axes deal heavy blows, spears allow quick attacks, and the broadsword provides all-round performance. The game includes the Bright Fir Forest expansion, set during the Festival of Leaf Fall, and the Bloody Whiskers expansion, which invites Redgi to a time-honoured combat tournament. Bright Fir Forest adds new adversaries, weapons, armour, cosmetic upgrades for the Crimson Keep, music tracks, and achievements.

Brew recipes, craft weapons, forge armour Redgi’s keep is also home to his brothers Rem-Rem, Bam-Bam, and Dug. Rem can cook up a health-boosting feast with ingredients found throughout the world, while Bam can craft new weapons and armours from special blueprints you’ll uncover if you look hard enough. And then there’s Dug, who’ll update you about new quests available throughout the kingdom.
