About the game
Caroline Walker, the protagonist of Tormented Souls, investigates the disappearance of twin girls at Winterlake and ends up in an abandoned mansion turned into a hospital. There she wakes in the dead of night in a bathtub, naked and hooked up to outdated medical equipment, and is forced to fight for her life. This single-player game draws on classic survival horror such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark, but presents a modern take on fixed-perspective action-adventure: the control scheme is modernised and the camera is dynamic. Progress through the mansion and its grounds requires searching rooms, gathering resources and tools, and fighting off dark forces and monsters. Clues from long-forgotten journals and combined items help solve puzzles and uncover the mansion's secrets, while mirrors serve as gateways to an alternate reality and another place in time.

A Return to Classic Survival Horror Tormented Souls draws inspiration from classic survival horror like From Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone in the Dark. A modern take on the fixed-perspective action-adventure game, it offers a modernised control scheme and dynamic camera combined with classic gameplay. Deadly Combat Dark forces and unspeakable horrors will do everything in their power to stop Caroline getting to the truth. Use anything and everything that you can find to fight back against evils lurking in the darkness.
