Dead Cells: Medley of Pain Bundle

About the game

Dead Cells is an action game set on a cursed island where everything keeps changing. The protagonist is a failed alchemic experiment: immortal but unable to move or fight on his own, he takes over other bodies that are not immortal, and each time a host is destroyed he returns to the dungeon. The game combines a non-linear story, a single life and no saves with open locations, mutations, abilities and weapons that stay unlocked between attempts. Combat demands precision, as enemies are dangerous and the panic roll helps avoid damage. The PS5 version uses DualSense effects: a trigger effect for skill cooldown, vibration and speaker feedback for taking damage, killing elites and drinking potions, a light bar for remaining health, and main activity tracking for boss cell acquisition. Those with a PS4 disc must insert it into the PS5 whenever they launch the PS5 digital version, and a PS5 Digital Edition without a disc drive cannot access the PS5 version at no extra cost.

Dead Cells: Medley of Pain Bundle adds four expansions to the base game with the Rise of the Giant update: The Bad Seed, The Queen and the Sea, Fatal Falls and Return to Castlevania. They bring content for later stages of runs, an alternative route with a different ending, enemies, weapons and outfits. The bundle suits those who want every expansion at once.
