DEATH NOTE Killer Within Special Edition

About the game

Matches in DEATH NOTE Killer Within pit two sides against each other, each hiding its roles while trying to work out the other's. One side consists of Kira and his followers, the other of L and the investigators, and the outcome hinges on eliminating L, whose presence threatens Kira's power, or on seizing the Death Note. Since the notebook rests with one of the participants, the hunt goes on until a single side prevails. Roles differ in their parameters and tactical options, and a scenario assembled at random makes every match a contest of tactics. Cross-play lets larger groups join together, and voice chat is recommended for talking things through. Play is possible only with a network connection, as offline mode is unavailable. An avatar can be set up with up to seven types of unlockable items, along with a nameplate and a special animation shown during dramatic moments.
