About the game
Set in the world of the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear -Strive- continues a fighting game line that has run for over 20 years. Its look comes from hybrid 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics, with a new artistic direction and improved character animations that bring the image close to hand-drawn animation. Combat is designed so newcomers can pick up the fundamentals while keeping the depth the series is praised for, and additions such as a wall-breaking mechanic change how a match can be approached. A fully voiced story mode concludes the Guilty Gear narrative and resolves the fate of the universe together with its heroes and villains. New characters join fan favorites, and online play uses rollback netcode. Up to 2 players can play on one console, and up to 32 online.
Guilty Gear -Strive- 2.0 Starter Edition includes the main game, GGST Season Pass 1-5, digital sound and artworks, the Ultimate Edition Special Color and 25th Anniversary Colors.
