About the game

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, set in a fictional world inspired by the Dark Ages. An empire there is split by civil war, new kingdoms grow beyond its borders, and the hero seeks glory on the battlefields of Calradia. The player develops a character, gathers companions and strengthens the clan's standing among the nobility through diplomacy, trade and roguery. Strategy meets action-RPG: armies fight and besiege strongholds in real time, while combat relies on skill, striking and parrying from different angles. A singleplayer open-world campaign includes an optional storyline about uniting the continent, yet a personal path is possible too, whether serving another's crown or founding a state. The feudal economy is simulated, with the availability of goods tied to supply and demand. One person plays on a single console, and up to 64 players join online.
