About the game
Development of Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) involved the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people, with elders, storytellers and community members helping to keep the game accurate. At its centre are a young Iñupiat girl and an arctic fox who set out to discover what causes the eternal blizzard endangering everything they have ever known. Players switch between the two at any time, as each has particular skills, and only together can they get past obstacles and solve puzzles. The game supports one player or two on the same console, and the route runs through frozen tundra, across ice floes and into underwater ice caverns, with many enemies to face. A master storyteller narrates in the Iñupiaq language, and video insights recorded by the Iñupiat community can be unlocked along the way.
Never Alone Arctic Collection bundles Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) with the Foxtales expansion. The expansion brings three completely new levels featuring places to explore, puzzles and foes. The bundle is aimed at those who want the game along with this expansion.

Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) is the first game developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people. Nearly 40 Alaska Native elders, storytellers and community members contributed to the development of the game. Play as a young Iñupiat girl and an arctic fox as they set out to find the source of the eternal blizzard which threatens the survival of everything they have ever known. Guide both characters in single-player mode or play cooperatively with a friend or family member as you trek through frozen tundra, leap across treacherous ice floes, swim through underwater ice caverns, and face numerous enemies both strange and familiar in the journey to save the girl’s village.
