About the game
The Ascent is an action-shooter RPG set in the cyberpunk world of Veles, inside the arcology of The Ascent Group. The player controls a worker enslaved by the company that owns him and everyone else in his district. When The Ascent Group suddenly shuts down for unknown reasons, security systems fail, rivals compete for power and criminal groups strengthen their hold on the black market, pulling the protagonist into a vortex of catastrophic events. He must take up arms, stop the invaders and uncover what caused the collapse. Play is available alone or in co-op for up to four players on one console or over the network. Combat involves aiming low or high, switching weapons and lethal gadgets, taking cover and using destructible environments, with tactics adjusted to new enemies. RPG elements include cyberware customization, skill points allocated on level-up and various augmentations, while exploring districts from deep slums to luxury spheres brings new allies, enemies and loot.

Welcome to The Ascent Group arcology, a corporate-run metropolis stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. You play as a worker, enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, you are suddenly caught in a vortex of catastrophic events: The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons and the survival of your district is threatened. You must take up arms and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all. SOLO OR CO-OP Play the entire game alone or work together with up to three friends in local or online co-op. EXPLOSIVE SHOOTER Aim low or high, switch weapons and equip lethal gadgets, take cover and use the destructible environments at your advantage and keep adjusting your tactic as you face new enemies. Which region should I pick to buy The Ascent PS4 & PS5?

How do I prepare my account for the “With sign-in” method?
Before paying:
1. Make sure your PSN password and two-factor backup codes work — the order cannot be completed with wrong details.
2. Turn off passwordless sign-in (passkey): the account needs a password and two-factor authentication.

Why do the gift codes add up to more than the order price?
PS Store top-up cards come in fixed denominations (Turkey in multiples of 250 TRY, India 1000 INR, Poland 50 PLN, UAE 40 AED), so the set is picked for the nearest amount. The difference stays in your account wallet — you can spend it on anything else in the PS Store.
Does the game stay on the account forever?
Yes. The purchase happens on your own PlayStation account, so the game stays there for good — exactly as with a normal PS Store purchase.
I do not have a PlayStation account in the right region — what do I do?
Tick “PSN account registration” at checkout and we will register a new account in the region you paid for — 150 ₽, or free on orders from 5 000 ₽ without signing in or from 5 130 ₽ with sign-in. The account is entirely yours: the email, the password and every purchase stay with you.
