About the game
Thumper puts the player in control of a space beetle speeding along an endless track toward a maniacal giant head from the future. It is a single-player rhythm-action game in which simple, airtight controls help master new moves, build up speed and survive boss battles. Every impact against obstacles is interwoven with an original soundtrack, making the player's actions part of the music. The game is played in ultra-glossy 2D or in VR. To play the digital version on PS5, owners of a PlayStation VR disc copy must insert the disc into the console, and connecting a PS Camera to PS5 requires a PlayStation Camera adaptor.
Description from PS Store
Thumper is rhythm violence: classic rhythm-action, blistering speed, and brutal physicality. You are a space beetle. Brave the hellish void and confront a maniacal giant head from the future. Scream down the endless track and crash through punishing obstacles with simple, airtight controls. Hurtle forward, master new moves, reach overwhelming velocities, and survive adrenalizing boss battles. Every crushing impact is interwoven with a pounding original soundtrack. To reach synesthetic bliss, you must go through rhythm hell. Play in ultra-glossy 2D or fully immersive VR. Owners of a PlayStation®VR disc copy must insert it into the PS5 every time they want to download or play the PlayStation®VR2 digital version. PlayStation®VR game disc owners who buy the PS5 Digital Edition disc-free console will not be able to get the PlayStation®VR2 version for the discounted price. In addition, on PS5™ consoles: PlayStation Camera adaptor for PS Camera is required (no purchase necessary) go to www.playstation.com/camera-adaptor
How is an order handled?
After the purchase you receive a set of PS Store gift codes worth the order and instructions: you redeem the codes to top up your wallet and buy the game yourself. No account details are needed.
Orders usually take 1–3 minutesYou pass your account details on the delivery page — PSN login, password and backup codes. The order is handled automatically, around the clock.
Orders usually take 10–15 minutesQuestions and answers
Does Thumper have Russian language support?
Interface and subtitles: Russian, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Danish, Spanish (Mexico), Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), Finnish, Swedish. The set of languages depends on the account region and on the edition — the one shown here is for your current choice.
How do the editions of Thumper differ?
There are several editions: Thumper, Thumper PS4 & PS5. The edition is selected in the purchase panel, and the price changes there too.
Which region should I pick to buy Thumper?
Every region has its quirks — a lower price, or no Russian language. Use the “PlayStation account region” switch to pick the one that suits you. Keep in mind that your PlayStation account region must match the one you pay in. Available regions: Turkey, Ukr. UA, India, UAE, Poland, USA.
How do I prepare my account for the “With sign-in” method?
Before paying:
1. Make sure your PSN password and two-factor backup codes work — the order cannot be completed with wrong details.
2. Turn off passwordless sign-in (passkey): the account needs a password and two-factor authentication.
3. Empty your PS Store cart.
4. Turn off the password prompt at checkout.
5. Remove all bank cards from the account.
6. If you are buying for a Ukr. UA account, spend the wallet balance beforehand: PS Store deducts it automatically at purchase.
7. For a US account, set a state without sales tax, such as Oregon.
With a prepared account, the order is completed fastest.
Why do the gift codes add up to more than the order price?
PS Store top-up cards come in fixed denominations (Turkey in multiples of 250 TRY, India 1000 INR, Poland 50 PLN, UAE 40 AED), so the set is picked for the nearest amount. The difference stays in your account wallet — you can spend it on anything else in the PS Store.
Does the game stay on the account forever?
Yes. The purchase happens on your own PlayStation account, so the game stays there for good — exactly as with a normal PS Store purchase.
I do not have a PlayStation account in the right region — what do I do?
Tick “PSN account registration” at checkout and we will register a new account in the region you paid for — 150 ₽, or free on orders from 5 000 ₽ without signing in or from 5 130 ₽ with sign-in. The account is entirely yours: the email, the password and every purchase stay with you.
What to do if something goes wrong with the order?
Open “Orders” in the site header, pick the order you need and write in the chat — you can attach a screenshot to your message. An operator replies.
