About the game
Released in early access in 2024, Windblown is a co-op action roguelite developed by Motion Twin, the studio behind Dead Cells. It is set in the ruins of a dying world threatened by the all-consuming Vortex, where a hero called the Leaper stands against the apocalypse. Speed shapes the design: dashes, strikes, abilities and Alterattacks chain into continuous combos, and battles unfold on ever-changing islands with challenges and bosses. Solo play and online co-op for up to 3 players are supported. Failed runs still feed progress, since recovered resources return to the Ark to unlock gear and powers, while the world is split into 6 biomes, with more to come in version 1.0.
