About the game

Dune: Awakening combines open-world survival with adventure and RPG systems, and it can be played alone or online. The action takes place on the desert planet of the Dune universe, where the player explores the surroundings, scales mountains with the Shigawire hook, pilots a self-built ornithopter and seeks shelter from sweeping sandstorms, keeping in mind that the sandworm always comes. The narrative centers on the Atreides and Harkonnen houses: a player joins one of them and climbs its ranks, encounters figures such as Duke Leto and Feyd-Rautha, and looks into the vanishing of the Fremen as well as into their own past. Advancement relies on the Schools of the Imperium, which grant abilities, weapons and tools, together with base construction and crafting that extends from desert gadgets to ground cars and ornithopters. Every feature, story element and mode is available whether playing solo, with friends on a shared server or on a public server, and difficulty and gameplay settings can be adjusted.
