Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

About the game

In Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, the world of Kian has been overrun after the Door to the Great Below was opened, releasing the Gods and their armies of the Dead and leaving the city of Dawn close to ruin. Players take the role of Nor Vanek, an elite soldier of the Coalition army, who seeks revenge on the Gods alongside Enki, a mysterious fox-like companion. Enki shares his knowledge of the world and grants her magical powers that enhance both fighting skills and movement. Developed by A44, the studio behind Ashen, the game keeps the core of the souls-like genre but adds fast mobility, so battles feel dynamic as melee, gunpowder and magic combine into rhythmic combos. Nor can rely on firearms and on height to strike from above or escape danger quickly. Enki's magic and portals let her glide through the skies above the devastated lands of Kian while facing hordes of undead, and along the way she finds new equipment and improves weapons and gear ahead of the final confrontation with the Gods. The game is built for a single player.
