In MX vs ATV Legends, off-road races take place on bikes, ATVs and UTVs across large open environments. The career mode is built around choices that open different paths, sponsorship opportunities and special invitational events for a professional rider. A separate Trails mode offers outdoor racing where new surprises around every turn challenge the player's riding style. Riders and vehicles are customised with parts and gear from leading manufacturers in off-road racing. Competition is available in 2-player split-screen or in 16-player online mode with squad-based gameplay, and the refined physics system allows riding berms and ruts with greater precision.
