About the game

The Devil in Me is the fourth entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology and the Season One finale. A documentary crew heads to a hotel built as a modern-day counterpart to H.H. Holmes' 'Murder Castle', hoping to draw public attention to its show. Once there, the team finds that someone is observing the guests and steering their actions, so the stakes go well beyond the fate of the programme. Players explore the World's Fair Hotel using features new to the series, including a character inventory, tool-based puzzles and expanded movement such as running, jumping and climbing. The aim is to evade the plans of a monster set on becoming the deadliest serial killer and to survive elaborate killing rooms designed around the characters' deaths. Every playable character can live or die, and the story branches. Two multiplayer modes return: online play with a friend and an offline five-player pass-the-pad mode. Completing the main story unlocks The Curator's Cut, which adds scenes playable from other characters' perspectives with new choices and decisions.
