About the game
Marathon takes place in a dark sci-fi world where players deploy onto maps to scour dangerous locations for valuables, loot, and intel on a lost colony, then fight their way to extraction through high-stakes PvP and PvE battles. The player controls a lone scavenger who can operate solo or in a crew of two or three, forming cautious alliances with rivals or betraying them for gain. Before deployment, a Runner shell with its own abilities is chosen, and loadouts are customized with moddable weapons and adjustable abilities, allowing builds that range from stealthy infiltrators to frontline bruisers and support specialists. Successful exfiltration fills a vault, while completing contracts earns rewards and lets players upgrade their gear. Over the course of a season the character grows stronger, and valuable gear can be put on the line for rewards. A separate Cryo Archive mode offers difficult trials, puzzles, and clashes with rival crews over loot. Cross-platform play is supported.

Once activated, the game stays on your account for good.
How soon does the code arrive after payment?

What to do if the key does not activate?
First check your Steam account region: the key activates in the countries of its own region, and a mismatch is the most common reason activation fails.
