About the game
Combat in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord takes place in real time from a first- or third-person view, with the player commanding troops and fighting alongside them using Mount & Blade’s skill-based directional combat system. This fighting sits within a vast medieval sandbox, Calradia, where an empire is torn by civil war and new kingdoms rise beyond its borders, and where the player creates and develops a character while raising armies, engaging in politics, trading, crafting weapons, recruiting companions and managing fiefdoms to establish a clan among the nobility. Exploration, raiding and conquest let the player shape a personal playstyle across the campaign. Multiplayer PvP offers casual and ranked matchmaking, and players can host their own server using the Mount & Blade II: Dedicated Server files. The game can be customised with the Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – Modding Kit, and creations can be shared through the Steam Workshop.
