NBA 2K26 is a sports game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, released in 2025. Its gameplay is built on ProPLAY technology, which translates NBA footage directly into realistic on-court play. The updated version features revamped size-ups, while all-new ProPLAY features drive fast-paced, dynamic movement. Players can choose among MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyNBA, The W, and Play Now, whether building a career, assembling star rosters, running a franchise, or competing alone and with friends. In MyCAREER, a custom MyPLAYER rises through the ranks and teams up with friends in a streamlined City, battling rival squads for Park supremacy. MyTEAM focuses on collecting past and present basketball legends and testing the assembled roster in new single-player and multiplayer modes, while MyNBA puts the player in the general manager role for any of all 30 teams, with 30 MyGM storylines inspired by real events. Single-player, co-op, and PvP are supported both online and on a single screen; Play Now, MyNBA, and The W work offline, whereas other modes require an internet connection and an NBA 2K account.

What is a Steam gift and how is it different from a key?
