About the game
REANIMAL is an adventure horror game by Tarsier Studios, the creators of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II. Its story follows a brother and sister on a dangerous journey to rescue their missing friends and leave a hellish island, while confronting the dark secret that haunts them. Movement takes place both on land and by boat, and progress depends on wits, agility and mutual assistance. The narrative emphasises tension and thick atmosphere, centring on two orphans who hold on to hope and seek redemption in the direst circumstances. The world is fragmented, and beyond the main path there are mysterious locations, each with its own story to tell. Single player and online and local co-op are available, including cross-platform play, and a shared, directed camera is designed to maximise claustrophobia and tension. The look of the children and the monsters that torment them draws on fragments of the siblings' troubled past.
