About the game
Milestone S.r.l. is releasing the racing game Screamer in 2026, built around a tournament overseen by a mysterious master. Five teams enter it — soldiers, scientists, criminals, superstars and ruthless magnates — each with its own reasons to risk everything on and off the track. The choice of driver matters because their car is designed around their style and carries an ability that provides an advantage. The game is set in a futuristic world with 90s anime aesthetics, and the ECHO technology turns races into fights: players switch between Boost, Strike and Shield, and once Overdrive begins the situation turns chaotic. Beyond single-player, there are online and split-screen PvP races with cross-platform play, including Team Races and modes focused on staying in Overdrive for as long as possible.
