About the game
The world of Unknown 9: Awakening places a dimension called the Fold alongside ordinary reality, and its heroine Haroona, a Quaestor, draws power from it. That gift lets her enter the minds of enemies and take control of them, evade gunfire, disappear from view and strike opponents with Umbric energy, with several ways to apply these abilities. A faction known as the Ascendants hunts her because it intends to reshape humanity's future through the Fold, so Haroona has to refine her command of its power in the real world. Her path crosses the sands of Mauritania, the dangerous jungles of India and the gothic landscapes of 19th century Portugal. The campaign is single-player only, and its plot connects to other Unknown 9 stories whose events and characters build a shared Storyworld.
Description from Steam
You are Haroona, a Quaestor born with the ability to venture into a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own, known only as the Fold. On her quest for powerful hidden knowledge, Haroona will learn to master her unique connection to the Fold, which allows her to channel its powers into our world... But such power does not go unnoticed and Haroona quickly becomes the target of a splinter faction calling themselves the Ascendants, who want to use the Fold to alter the course of human history.
- Play as a young and courageous woman who has the ability to dive into and channel powers from a parallel dimension known as the Fold.
- Leverage your mastery of the Fold and choose your own playstyle. Step into your enemies to control them, dodge bullets, vanish in plain sight, hurl Umbric energy at your opponents, and more.
- From the sands of Mauritania and perilous Indian jungles to the gothic landscapes of 19th century Portugal, discover some of the most mysterious locations the world has to offer.
- Unknown 9: Awakening lies at the heart of intertwining stories, unfolding through a multitude of Unknown 9 products whose events and characters make up a much larger Storyworld.

What is a Steam gift and how is it different from a key?
A gift is a present our bot sends straight to your Steam account via your profile link: no code to enter, the game appears in your library once you accept the gift. A key is an activation code you enter yourself in the Steam client.
Which gift region should I choose?
The one your Steam account is registered in: Steam will not accept a gift from another region. The region is shown in your Steam account settings under "Store country". "CIS countries" means Belarus, Armenia, Georgia and other CIS countries.
How will I receive the gift?
After payment you enter a link to your Steam profile and the bot sends the gift straight to the account — you only need to accept it in Steam. It usually takes 2–5 minutes, around the clock.
What if the account already has this game?
Steam will not let you accept a gift of a game already in your library — check the library before buying. If it happens, write in the order chat: we will refund you.
