About the game
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a fighting game for PS5 set in the Avatar universe. Its hand-drawn 2D animation conveys the characters' personalities and fighting styles, and players choose from 12 fighters. Beyond offline and online Versus, the game includes a Story Mode with an original story outlined by the show's creators, Arcade runs with storylines for every character, a Training Mode with hitboxes and frame data, Spectator Mode, and an Art Gallery with never-before-seen concept art. Combat pairs simple, intuitive controls for quick matches with deeper mechanics: Flow for dashing and evading, Energy Points that enable enhanced special moves and cinematic Super Arts, and a choice of three support characters with their own abilities. Online play uses rollback netcode and crossplay across platforms, with casual and competitive matches, lobbies, replays, and spectator mode.
