About the game

The second game is set in 1920s Arkham, a city gradually sinking beneath a supernatural flood. It is a third-person horror experience focused on survival, with scarce supplies that need careful management. The protagonist travels on foot or by skiff, locating passages behind collapsed seawalls and secrets in boarded-up rooms. The plot concerns rescuing a beloved woman: a ritual went wrong and locked her soul in the Dreamlands, while her body was taken by hostile forces, so the road leads to the cause of the flood. Enemies call for different responses: the Slither raise the dead, Deep Ones emerge from dark water, and Shadows warp space, so some fights are taken directly while others end with a retreat to shelter. Optional investigations provide safer routes, supplies and upgrades.

The Premium Edition includes the base game, the Arkham Field Kit with the «The Anatomist», «The Witness» and «Heretic Heraldry» costumes, 3 Dream Essence and a resource pack, plus the story quest The Holloway Manor. That quest offers an optional investigation, the «Bucking Bronco» revolver, the «Kane's Hefty Barrel» and «Kane's Wrapped Grip» attachments and a revolver ammo recipe. The edition suits those who want additional equipment content and a separate investigation.
