About the game
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a 2026 updated version in which the player takes the role of Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw, amid the long conflict between Assassins and Templars. The hero can blend into crowds, lead raids, perform silent takedowns or fight openly with swords, pistols and the Hidden Blade, and can sink or board enemy vessels. The remake rebuilds combat around parries and takedowns, improves stealth and parkour for smoother escapes and assassinations, adds alternate fire modes and upgrades for the Jackdaw, and addresses shortcomings noted in the original. Its seamless open world is built on the Anvil engine and covers open waters, shipwrecks and tropical jungles, with scenes enhanced by Dolby Atmos and ray tracing. Exclusive new content expands the original story with new storylines for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, three officers who join during the main narrative, new sea shanties, pets and a photo mode. The game is single-player only.
