About the game
HELLDIVERS 2 is a third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by PlayStation Publishing LLC in 2024. As a Helldiver, the player takes on strategically important missions in a squad of up to four, and networked co-op rests on mutual support even though friendly fire remains a reality of combat. The approach to each drop is the player's own: a strike from above, a stealthy infiltration or a head-on charge, backed by explosives, armor and stratagems capable of turning a battle. Super Earth credits service with Requisition, spent on rewards for the player, the squad, the destroyer ship and the wider war effort. Enemies on every planet differ in characteristics, tactics and behavior, yet all fight ferociously. The outcome of the galactic war rests on the combined actions of everyone involved.
