About the game
Heroes of Hammerwatch II is a rogue-lite action RPG in which the hero fights through the Dark Citadel while collecting equipment and trinkets that unlock game-changing upgrades and abilities. Levels are randomly generated, with eight distinct floor types, each stocked with its own enemies, traps and challenges. Between expeditions the town serves as a hub where buildings are upgraded, gear is enchanted and new character upgrades are unlocked, along with additional heroes and storage for loot. Play begins as a Warrior, Paladin, Ranger or Wizard, while the Rogue, Warlock and Sorcerer are unlocked through gameplay, and every class has three specializations that add new abilities and passives. Once the Citadel is conquered, the endless New Game+ mode offers tougher enemies and more powerful rewards. Single-player and online co-op for up to four players are supported.
