About the game
The story of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle takes place in 1937, in the gap between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Sinister figures are hunting for the key to an ancient power linked to the Great Circle, and stopping them falls to Indiana Jones. MachineGames built the title as a solo, first-person adventure in which the player takes the part of the legendary archaeologist. A nighttime break-in and a meeting with a mysterious colossal man push him to learn the truth behind the theft of an apparently minor artifact. His travels lead from Marshall College to the Vatican, the pyramids of Egypt and the sunken temples of Sukhothai. The whip lets him distract and disarm foes, climb walls and swing over enemies, while stealth, hand-to-hand fighting and shooting cover combat. Linear narrative sections alternate with open areas holding traps, puzzles and fresh clues.
