About the game
Set in Manhattan after a devastating pandemic, Tom Clancy’s The Division tasks the player with restoring order and helping the city recover. It is a third-person tactical shooter with an open world, where combat revolves around cover-based firefights won through smart positioning and the use of utility. A separate focus is gear progression: weapons and armor are looted, crafted and upgraded to suit the player’s own approach. Story missions can be tackled alone or in online co-op with up to three other agents, while higher levels open up tougher challenges and the Dark Zone, a PvP and PvE area. The game is online-only and requires a persistent internet connection.
