About the game
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is an updated version of the first game in the zombie series, set in the town of Willamette, Colorado, which the U.S. army suddenly places under quarantine. Freelance journalist Frank West enters the town's only shopping mall to find out what is happening, and help is due to arrive in 72 hours. During that time he must uncover who is responsible for the incident. The remaster rebuilds the graphics on the RE ENGINE: character models, environments, facial expressions, material textures and blood spatter are more realistic than in the original. The original gameplay remains intact, with additions such as auto-saving, revamped controls, an improved UI and full voice acting. The single-player game takes place in a giant shopping mall, where players use guns, baseball bats and household objects, rescue other survivors, try on new clothes and face not only zombies but also psychopaths.
