About the game
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a crime shooter developed by IO Interactive, released in 2010 for PC on Steam. The plot centres on Lynch, a self-medicated psychopath, and Kane, a disillusioned ex-mercenary. After a job that goes wrong, they have to flee the consequences of their actions through Shanghai's illegal underworld, unable to rely on anyone, even one another, while Lynch's mental state deteriorates and Kane's mood unravels. The game includes a single-player campaign and online co-op where the player takes the role of either Kane or Lynch. Combat adds a second chance after being downed: the player can keep shooting from the ground or crawl toward cover. A multiplayer component called Fragile Alliance returns with a collection of new and old modes, and the visual style is built around raw realism inspired by documentary filmmaking.
