About the game
METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Phantom Pain takes place in 1984, with the Cold War and a nuclear crisis shaping the global situation. Snake recovers from a nine-year coma that followed the destruction of Mother Base, then forms his own private army to seek revenge and track down the shadow group XOF.
