About the game
Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter is a first-person shooter developed by Croteam as a follow-up to Serious Sam: The First Encounter. Sam makes his way toward Mental's base across three worlds, and the setting combines cyberpunk with fantasy, pairing advanced technology with black magic and psycho-powers. Along the route he faces Mental's minions, while the single-player portion emphasizes arcade-style action. Beyond the campaign, the game offers co-op for up to 16 players, Deathmatch and Scorematch modes, and local split screen for up to 4 players. The weapon set adds a Sniper Rifle, Flamethrower and Chainsaw, and Power-Ups further raise fighting and agility skills. There are 27 enemies in total, including 5 new ones and 3 new Bosses, along with over 100 secrets and the bundled Serious Editor and Serious Modeller for building levels, MODs and textures.
