About the game
SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny is a stand-alone expansion, so SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars and SpellForce 2: Dragon Storm are not required to play it. The story follows a young man who, together with a group of diverse heroes and a dragon, sets out to free the world of Eo from a new, nameless evil and to learn more about this enemy, which leads him to discover his own destiny. The narrative ties together the storylines of the earlier SpellForce games and carries them further. Combat uses the Click'n'Fight system with Quick-Action-Buttons, while character development offers many combinations of skills and magic abilities. Beyond the single-player campaign with its quests, there is the Domination multiplayer mode, in which strategic nodes spread across the map must be held to obtain resources for strengthening armies. The game also lets the player ride a dragon for the first time in the series and introduces a completely new race with its own buildings, playable in multiplayer as well.
