About the game
Borderlands 2 is an action RPG released in 2012 for PC. Set on Pandora, the story opens with the protagonist left for dead in a frozen tundra and setting out for revenge. As one of four new Vault Hunters — the Siren, Commando, Gunzerker, or Assassin — the player confronts Handsome Jack, the CEO of the Hyperion Corporation. The Gunzerker, for example, can dual-wield any two weapons at once. The game offers single-player and co-op over the internet or LAN, letting players drop in and out of a campaign at any time. Loot includes procedurally generated guns, shields, grenades, and other gear, while enemies include Bullymongs, Stalkers, and Hyperion's mechanical army. The Mac and Linux versions are localized in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
