About the game
Broken Age is an adventure game by Double Fine Productions, released in 2014 and built for solo play only. The plot centers on two teenagers, Vella Tartine and Shay Volta, who end up in similar circumstances even though their worlds are arranged very differently. The player is free to move between the two stories, and by doing so helps the heroes sort out their own fates and what follows from them. Visually the game uses 2D hand-drawn graphics, and its soundtrack was recorded with an orchestra. Dialogue trees and puzzles form the core, while control relies on moving the cursor and clicking.
Description from Steam
Broken Age is a family friendly, hand-animated, puzzle-filled adventure game with an all-star cast, including Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Masasa Moyo. Funded by a record breaking crowdfunding campaign and designed by industry legend Tim Schafer, Broken Age is a timeless coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons.
Vella Tartine and Shay Volta are two teenagers in strangely similar situations, but radically different worlds. The player can freely switch between their stories, helping them take control of their own lives, and dealing with the unexpected adventures that follow.
Starring:
Elijah Wood as Shay

What is a Steam gift and how is it different from a key?
A gift is a present our bot sends straight to your Steam account via your profile link: no code to enter, the game appears in your library once you accept the gift. A key is an activation code you enter yourself in the Steam client.
Which gift region should I choose?
The one your Steam account is registered in: Steam will not accept a gift from another region. The region is shown in your Steam account settings under "Store country". "CIS countries" means Belarus, Armenia, Georgia and other CIS countries.
How will I receive the gift?
After payment you enter a link to your Steam profile and the bot sends the gift straight to the account — you only need to accept it in Steam. It usually takes 2–5 minutes, around the clock.
What if the account already has this game?
Steam will not let you accept a gift of a game already in your library — check the library before buying. If it happens, write in the order chat: we will refund you.
