Call of Duty: WWII is a shooter from Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software set in Europe during World War II. The campaign opens with the Normandy landings on D-Day and follows the fighting through historical locations, portraying the bonds between soldiers and the harsh nature of war. Beyond the single-player campaign, the game offers a multiplayer mode with authentic weapons and traditional run-and-gun action across maps inspired by the war. A separate co-operative mode features its own standalone story. All three modes support single-player, online and same-screen play.
