About the game
The story takes place in Paris in 1499, with the city in flames and monstrous creatures appearing from the shadows. Trevor Belmont, who defeated Dracula, goes into the burning streets alongside his daughter Rose, and together they wield the holy whip known as the Vampire Killer against the beasts pouring out of the ominous castle. Rose is soon drawn into a dark conspiracy forming deep within that castle, and she must try to prevent the city's destruction. The whip serves both for attacks and for movement, and learning its mechanics enables quick work against enemies. Bosses such as Death, Medusa, Carmilla and Joan of Arc are sealed into Rose's tarot cards upon defeat, becoming Arcana that provide spells and special actions. Equipment includes weapons of seven categories and Relics with effects in offense and defense, letting players shape their own combat approach. The game offers single-player play only.
