About the game
In Phantom Blade Zero, Soul is accused of killing his master and left with a wound to the heart that gives him sixty-six days to live. Hunted and on his own, he travels the Wulin while trying to uncover a plot that has gripped the martial world. Players explore the Phantom World, built around shifting light and shadow, and search for hidden passages and intricate mechanisms. Combat offers over 30 primary weapons and more than 20 Phantom Edges taken from defeated enemies. Fights revolve around dodges, deflects, counters, and fast strikes, with moves and stances drawn from real martial techniques. The art direction mixes wuxia motifs with punk elements such as mechanical prosthetics, industrial ruins, and rock music. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, uses motion capture, and is single-player only.
