About the game
shapez 2 is a 3D building game about extracting and processing geometric shapes, each of which can be split into blocks, stacked, painted and reassembled in many ways. Delivering the right shapes unlocks technologies and lets a factory grow from one conveyor belt into a complex across three layers, with space trains connecting facilities in space. With no enemies, no time limits and no cost for structures, nothing forces the pace, so belts can be torn down and rebuilt as often as needed while attention stays on producing shapes. Players choose among three difficulty levels with their own tasks or try the experimental Hexagonal mode, and wires and logic commands serve to optimise production. Animated open buildings reveal what is happening on the factory floor, a research system unlocks new buildings, mechanics and upgrades, and a blueprint library lets designs be saved, loaded and shared. Controls cover cutting, copying and pasting plus undoing and redoing up to 50 operations, and play is single-player only.
