About the game
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a role-playing game developed and published by LEVEL5 Inc., released in 2025. The protagonist joins the archaeologist Edward and his team on an expedition and, following the light from a dragon's fossil, discovers an uncharted, deserted island. Unraveling the mystery of its downfall requires traveling between the island as it thrived 1,000 years ago and its present-day state. At the center are 14 "Lives," or jobs, that can be switched freely: some involve gathering ingredients and materials, others crafting weapons or cooking, and others fighting monsters. Collected resources are used to restore the island by placing houses and objects, altering the landscape, drawing rivers and roads, and decorating interiors with furniture. Climbing ledges, swimming across rivers and lakes, and riding mounts support open-world exploration, while online multiplayer accommodates up to 4 players; with two controllers, a 2 Player Family Co-op option lets one player join as a travel companion without an online connection. Cross-platform play is supported.
