About the game
Lords of the Fallen takes place in a vast, interconnected world where the demon God Adyr, defeated by man aeons ago, is nearing resurrection. As a Dark Crusader, the player must overthrow Adyr once and for all, travelling through the realms of the living and the dead, each with its own pathways, secrets, treasures, and foes. Combat is fast and tactical, with hundreds of weapons available, from heavy flails to rapid-fire crossbows, or magic and its devastating arcane attacks for those who forgo metal. Players can personalise their character's appearance and pick one of nine character classes, then develop their own playstyle by upgrading stats and weapons. The campaign is playable solo or in online co-op, with casual and full shared progression sessions in which both players save all progress; a Free Friends Pass lets players invite others even if they do not own a copy of the game. More than 70 post-launch updates have been released, including version 2.0, which brings a revamped combat system, performance enhancements, difficulty balancing, new questlines and modes, and quality-of-life features.

What is a Steam gift and how is it different from a key?
