About the game
The game is set around the Jura Tempest Federation, and the player builds a new story for the state together with characters from the animated series. Battles rely on flashy special moves and powerful combos: leveling up bonds with friends teaches Rimuru new Special Attacks and brings allies in to support his attacks, while Secret Skills animated in retro 8-bit style are used to finish off formidable enemies threatening Tempest. The anime's events are relived in the game, and two new adventures by the original author are added to them: the Goblin's Revenge Arc, centered on Kataki, and the Religious Nation Arc, about the Theocracy of Angels seeking the power of the Storm Dragon. City-building is a separate part of the game: as the story progresses and new allies are met, the community grows from a small village into a great nation, and the Tempest Resonance strengthens residents as more structures are built. Rimuru's memories from the world before his reincarnation allow modern Japanese-style buildings, and more than 50 original subquests cover daily life in Tempest and the problems of its residents. The game is single-player only.
